Concrete surfaces stand out more and more in modern architecture and are also a trend in interiors. It is a material that prints character, provides roughness and offers an aesthetic in warm tones with different shades of gray. Adding all these virtues to the properties of acrylic stone, the result promises to be spectacular and from there arises the new Concrete collection, launched by LG Hausys, is a product line born from the initial desire to return to the strictly essential.
This new line combines the rough texture of raw concrete with the fine HI-MACS® finish. The main advantage of imitating the hormingón is that the totally non-porous material can be thermoformed, which allows to obtain curved shapes, as well as surfaces without joints. In this way, it is easy to repair and maintain. The Concrete collection constitutes a challenge in modernity since it returns to an industrial era in which the basic colors provided a blank canvas in which to create.
The five shades of the range Concrete available, are inspired by modern industrial architecture and can be used for any application, such as decks, kitchens and bathrooms, which adds a special touch to the space.
On the other hand, also for this year 2018, the HI-MACS® Marmo collection has been updated with nine new colors that complete the current trends towards high quality marble aspects, from white on pale white to striking dark brown and anthracite tones.
The new shades, emerged from the latest generation of Marmo acrylic stone production technology, show a surface with short and sharp veins, which presents a more realistic look and manufacturing without visible joints easier.
