Good or bad idea? A basket type cabinet as under sink

I was taking a look at the new Bowl and Fluent collections by Arik Levy for Inbani and I liked them a lot, but I noticed the furniture that you can see in the photos on these lines, the basin type cabinet, and I have begun to wonder if it will be a good idea or not. The fact is that it is very original in its design and allows you to have a lot of things at hand in a bathroom in which there is not much space for a countertop.

But I say that if you put a piece of furniture under a sink, maybe you would better use the space to the floor. That is, on the one hand it is a piece of furniture that seems practical for small bathrooms, in which You can't put things next to the sink and you have to put them under, but in reality it does not maximize the use of space. Another issue is cleaning, it seems a piece of furniture that is going to get dirty and impractical when cleaning.

Note that the contrast between white marble, the metal in the bars and I love the basket-style design, but perhaps it seems more suitable for the piece that you can see in the photo on these lines, which is more versatile and can be moved to the bathroom site that suits us at all times.

I will love to know what is your opinion, perhaps it is that I am becoming too practical and for some time now, I think too much about the comfort of the furniture. I like to see beautiful furniture, but if at the same time they don't have a ten in functionality, I quickly find some fault.
